I have had a passion for writing my whole life using story telling to make friends at school. I went on to study English Language with Creative Writing at university. Once I graduated, I travelled to New Zealand, where I was able to make friends through writing by doing the NaNoWriMo initiative.
In my late 20s, I studied a Master’s degree in Information and Library Studies and, once this was complete, realised I wanted to try to make an income from writing, rather than it being merely a hobby. Although I had been writing stories and novels since childhood, I realised all of my ideas were very visual and would work best as scripts.
I am in the middle of working to change careers from mostly retail work to gain experience in media work instead. While I would love to reach a point where I can scripts write full time, I am currently learning various other jobs in media, such as sound production and editing assistant work.
I also have experience proof-reading and am available to proof-read any form of written work. Please email me if you wish for me to proof-read something for you.
