Intro:
Have finally managed to buy a shotgun microphone – with hopes to have a complete sound recording kit by Christmas. In the meantime I have hired what I need for the shoot at the end of this month, which is two days before I start my new job.
So, on to the update!
Scripts Update:
I have officially decided to not record Legend of Aramelle until January. This gives me enough time to fully work through the notes I’ve been given, save up money to pay everyone and not be rushing to get it completed before I start work, which is what would have happened if I recorded this month.
Pushing that back has freed up my time a little and the two scripts I have been working on have been easier to write the first drafts of as a result of me not writing as much. I’m nearly ready for notes on my 1960s one – though sadly it will be beginning of September that that is finished. And I will have my time travelling witch script done by October.
Things Learnt:
I am surprised how much more writing I have been able to get done, now I’ve pushed back Legend of Aramelle recording. It was obviously the case that focussing on too many different things was actually making me write less instead of more! Instead, now I am free to concentrate on imagining time travelling witches and the 1960s to my heart’s content.
